7 Logon and Editing - While this seems to me again a lot of experimenting
in Windows 7, because there are a lot of features and tricks that I know a lot
yet. This time I will try to give you tips on how to modify and edit your
Windows 7 logon screen. During this time I think just using any program that is
able to change the Windows Logon Wallpaper as programs that I use TuneUp
Utilities, but after a see-saw turns Windows Logon Wallpaper can be changed
using Regedit. I instantly started only way alter and edit the Windows 7 logon
screen.
Some of the many programs exist to meet your needs where
they explain how to use the program operation. For examples from Stardock
LogonStudio ago I often use TuneUp Utilities and many other programs.
When I was brain-tweaking the registry, by accident I found
a bright spot that the logon screen wallpaper can be changed easily using
regedit, of course, once you know the steps and if you already know the steps
you do not need and require more software to change your windows logon. The
following are ways to do it.
First open the Registry Editor (Regedit)
The process is easy, just type regedit in the search field,
or you can do using Windows shortcut that Windows Logo + R on your keyboard to
call the RUN and type regedit.
* Note: Editing the Windows Registry is very risky, so make
sure you back up the registry before making changes.
Once the Registry Editor appears, select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
then right click and select the Find command, or you can do by using the
shortcut Ctrl + F3. Once the Find dialog box appears, type OEMBackground then
uncheck Keys and Data like this picture.
If you do not find any direct you towards here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \
CurrentVersion \ Authentication \ LogonUI \ Background
Then after you see OEMBackground 2x click on the file it
will display the Edit DWORD dialog box, change the data value from 0 to 1, as
shown in the picture below.
* Note: If OEMBackground no, then you must make in advance
by selecting the Edit menu or right-click on an empty column, and select New |
DWORD (32-bit).
The second step now is that you have to create multiple
folders. Then navigate to the C: \ Windows \ System32 \ oobe. Once you access
the oobe folder, create a folder there and name the folder info.
Then open the folder info, make another New Folder, and name
the folder with the name of backgrounds.
Already completed, you can use any image you want for your
logon wallpaper.
* Note: Keep in mind the image must be JPG format, and file
name must backgroundDefault.jpg. BackgroundDefault.jpg file size should not
exceed 256 KB and try image has a resolution that corresponds to your monitor
or images with a resolution of 1280x1024 great examples.
One more to beautify logon to display the 3D effect Shadow
to look at the buttons and text are used to identify the user account. This
shadow effect may not work properly if you do not adjust the wallpaper you use.
