MAXZ PRO, How to use the
Microsoft System Preparation Tool - Most of you would be familiar with the
term "clone hard drive". In addition to backing up data, clone hard
drive too often we do when we are going to install some computers the same
hardware specs. For example we will be installing 10 computers, of course you
can imagine how difficult it must be done if one by one. By using a tool to
clone the hard drive such as Norton ghost and drive image xml, we can do the
setup (install the OS, application programs and the copying of data) to one
computer only, then after the completion of our newly created his image files
or directly cloned the hard disk.
Here are the steps that we can do to use MICROSOFT'S SYSPREP
into our computer:
- Put CD Microsoft Windows XP SP2 or SP3 to a
CDROM drive.
- Extract the files contained in the folder
DEPLOY.CAB Support \ Tools on Windows XP SP2 CD to the C: \ SYSPREP
- Go to the folder C: \ SYSPREP and double click
the file to start the run SYSPREP Setupmgr.exe.
- Next follow and note the steps in the process of
setting Windows Sysprep following:
- In the Type of Setup select SYSPREP Setup
- At the option do you want to fully automate the
installation select No
- On the next window click next -next, don’t
filled or let by default.
- After Completing the Setup Manager window
appears, click Cancel to exit.
- Furthermore sysprep.exe double click the file in
the folder C: \ SYSPREP
- A warning window will appear, just click OK
- Later in the System Preparation Tool window,
check the Use Mini Setup and click Factory
- Wait until the computer is shutdown.
- SYSPREP installation step is completed, and then
we can clone the hard drive to another hard drive.
- Cloned hard drive then can we attach to each
computer and then turn on the computer.
- Wait some time until then reappear a System
Preparation Tool window:
- Check the option Use the Mini Setup, click
Reseal
- A warning window will appear just click OK and
the computer will shutdown
- Restart the computer, it will appear Windows
setup where we can fill the CD Key and various other settings are required.
- Once the setup is complete and the computer
restarts Windows back then we will have a new Windows system with application
programs and data that is already available as it has been previously
installed.
