How to Create User Accounts in Windows XP

MAXZ PRO, How to Create User Accounts in Windows XP - In several previous articles, I often refer to the term user account, such as the post how to protect files in windows XP, how to remove stubborn files and how to create an automatic login on Windows XP. Actually what I mean with a user account on these articles, the following bit of explanation.

User account is the user name (user) is used when you first log into windows. Windows XP is a multi-user, where we can make some users and each user can log into Windows with each account and save the various settings and data in the user folder. On Windows XP are located at C: \ Documents and Settings \ (user name) and to maximize the user account management, we must use the NTFS file system in Windows XP that we use.

How do I create and manage user accounts in Windows XP this?

There are various ways that we can do, ranging from access via the control panel, computer management, and the most simple in my opinion is to access it through the RUN command in the start menu, and you can follow some steps of How to Create User Accounts in Windows XP:

·         Click Start - Run, type: control userpasswords2 then press enter.

·         User Accounts window will appear.

·         To add a new user, click the Add button, then fill in the User Name and click Next,

·         The next step is to enter the user's password or can directly click next if we do not want to use a password.

·         On the next window will show the option to specify the level of access to the user as shown in the picture below.

·         There are several levels of access that we can give to our regular user select the type of users or power users, to a more limited access can be set as a guest, whereas if we are to be given full access select Administrator. For other types of user, please ask Google :) wishful forget to click Finish - Finish

·         If want to manage an existing user, select the user that you want and then click Properties on the windows user account.
